Owner and Chef Andrew Cuddy’s new project has created quite a buzz around the Bellarine Peninsula. Think sharing dishes, Asian-inspired cocktails, and all the flavours of modern Asia showcased in a Japanese-influenced interior. Local suppliers help keep the food fresh and full of flavour. Working in town for the last 15 years, Andrew has found a niche the market was missing. Opening its innovative eatery mid 2021, Nivana has been well received by locals and holidaymakers. Trained in Pan-Asian while working in London, Andrew has traveled extensively throughout Asia and the Pacific, refining his skills and talents in the kitchen, and ultimately fulfilling his passion in his East-Oriental-meets-West restaurant. Taking inspiration from the term Nirvana, meaning enlightenment and paradise, Nivana encompasses the comfortable atmosphere of a small diner with the excitement that is contemporary Asian cooking.
